I installed the eSIM for use in France but I was not able to get any data from it on my iPhone. I would not use this again. Every year I would go to Europe & every year I would have to find a mobile phone shop, replace my SIM card with a local SIM card & then cross my fingers that it would work. More often than not it wouldn’t work. But this year I tried the e-SIM while I was in France & it was a breeze to install & a breeze to use. Best of all I could keep my SIM card in the phone & then switch to it if I needed to. I would recommend the Unlimited Lite plan as I never ran out of data even though I was using the internet constantly. The esim was easy to set up, it worked great in Paris and on the road and it was easy to top-up. No need for additional applications. Did not use it for calls through voip, just for texting, maps, news and some apps (for example buying transportation tickets from the airport on the phone instead of waiting in an endless line recommends having an esim active and ready).
